Murphy Medical Center Foundation

            As a non-profit, charitable organization, Murphy Medical Center depends upon the generosity of the people it serves in order to provide that extra margin of quality and service which is so unique for a facility our size.  The Murphy Medical Center Foundation provides a variety of opportunities for appreciative patients, their families and other members of the community to show their support.

             The foundation was created in 1995 as part of a major community campaign to improve and expand health care services in our tri-state region.  The foundation has its own board of directors made up of community leaders from a variety of backgrounds who are committed to the organization’s mission, “Helping to make our community a healthier and better place to live”.  Board of Directors

             Donors can be assured that their gifts are protected yet productive.  The board and staff are responsible for the wise stewardship of foundation assets and the annual distribution from endowment earnings back to Murphy Medical Center facilities and programs and to address health care needs in the communities we serve.  The foundation also serves as the vehicle for donor designated gifts to specific aspects of our organization.  Direct Your Gift

             As a tax-exempt organization, all gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.  In this way, gifts to the foundation can often help donors address their own financial planning considerations and area health care needs at the same time.
