To provide our communities with high-quality, patient-centered care.
“The Murphy Medical Center Foundation enables people to give something back to their community in the form of a permanent gift, a gift which will increase in value as the foundation grows year after year.”
There are a variety of ways your gift can make a difference.
Gifts to the General Endowment Fund will work forever generating an annual return available for use at the discretion of the foundation board. In recent years the board has used these funds to purchase equipment, make improvements to our facilities and support a variety of programs and services.
Gifts to the Healthcare Education Scholarship Fund are designated for scholarships for high school graduates to pursue careers in health care, continuing education opportunities for area health care employees, and educational programs for the public.
The Health Care for Children Fund directs your gift to the unmet needs of our young people ranging from fitness to acute care from birth through high school. Distributions from this fund are guided by advice from area physicians and professionals who work directly with youth.
The Cancer Fund addresses the needs of patients, their families and the community at large. New services have accentuated the need for resources for equipment, educational outreach and the provision of indigent care.
Donors can also specify that their gifts benefit particular programs or components of the system such as Good Shepherd Home Health and Hospice Agency or the Nursing Home.
All of these funds are available for cash donations, memorial and honorary gifts, bequests and other forms of planned or deferred gifts.
