Ten registered nurses from the Medical Surgical Unit at Murphy Medical Center have received certification in Medical Surgical Nursing from the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses.

The staff applaud Stefanie Moral, Ashley Stiles, Kelly Roberts, Dianna Mitchell, Marsha Waggoner, Elisabeth Stalcup, Victoria Virtuoso, Stephanie Forbess, Katrina Luckey, and Teresa Bowleg.  These registered nurses have gone above and beyond showing their dedication and commitment to nursing excellence. 

To receive the Medical Surgical Nursing certification, these nurses passed an exam, practiced a minimum of two calendar years as a RN in an adult medical-surgical setting, and accrued a minimum of 3,000 hours within the past three years of practice in an adult medical-surgical setting as a staff nurse or supervisor.
