Nursing Home Honors Alzheimer's Patients, Caregivers

Murphy Medical Center hosts candlelight program

November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and National Family Caregiver Month.  Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home invites community members to attend a Candlelight Reflections program to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders, and to recognize family caregivers.

The program will be held on Thursday, November 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Nursing Home’s Solarium.  There will be an opportunity to light a candle in honor of or in memory of a loved one.  Caregiver education materials will be available, and refreshments will be served.
